Documentation Review & Gap Verification

Written is easy now. Verified is what passes an audit.

Anyone can produce a full set of ISO documents in an afternoon — with a template pack, a consultant, or an AI tool. And if you have used AI for this, you have already seen it: the output looks complete, sounds confident — and still gets things wrong. It paraphrases requirements instead of implementing them. It invents details that were never in the standard. Plausible is not the same as audit-proof.

None of those tools will tell you whether your documents will survive a certification audit. That takes an auditor.

I am a senior third-party lead auditor with 25 years in certification and consulting — more than 3,800 audit days across quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety management systems, and over 100 organizations consulted. I review your documentation the way a certification auditor will read it — before they do.

Two fixed-fee reviews

1. ISO 9001:2026 Transition Gap Review — CAD 749

Your current ISO 9001:2015 documentation, reviewed clause by clause against the new ISO 9001:2026 edition. You receive a gap report that shows, for every requirement: what changed, where your documents fall short, the audit risk if it stays unfixed, and the exact action to close it — ending with a clear readiness verdict and a prioritized fix sequence.

Founding rate: CAD 549 for the first three clients, in exchange for permission to use an anonymized testimonial.

2. Documentation Verification Review — CAD 949

Your management system documentation — however it was produced — verified against its standard (for example ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001, or ISO 22000). Especially suited to AI-generated or template-based documentation: it looks complete, but does it conform? You receive the same clause-by-clause findings, audit-risk ratings, and required actions.

Correction re-check: add CAD 299. After you fix the findings, I verify the corrections and confirm what is closed.

What you receive

• A written gap report: for each clause — the requirement, the evidence reviewed, the finding (conforms / partial / gap), the audit risk (major nonconformity risk / minor / opportunity for improvement), and the required action
• A readiness verdict: ready / ready with fixes / not ready
• A priority fix list: must fix before the audit / should fix / improvement
• A clear statement of what was not reviewed, so there are no false assumptions
• One round of written questions and answers after delivery

How it works

1. Request the review. Email info@novaqtechgroup.com with: your name and organization, the review you want (Transition Gap Review or Verification Review), your standard, the approximate number of documents, and your next audit date if known. Please also confirm that your organization is not one I audit on behalf of a certification body.
2. Scope and impartiality check (within 1 business day). I confirm the scope fits the fixed fee — one standard, one site, up to about 60 documents — and that there is no impartiality conflict. You receive a fixed-fee confirmation. No hourly billing, no surprises.
3. Confirmation and secure upload. On request, we sign an NDA first. You then receive a secure upload link for your documents and the invoice. Documents are treated as confidential, used only for your review, and deleted after delivery on request.
4. The review. The 7-business-day turnaround starts when your complete documents and full payment have both been received.
5. Your report. You receive the written gap report, plus one included round of written questions and answers.
6. Optional re-check (+ CAD 299). Send your corrected documents; I verify the corrections and confirm which findings are closed.

What this is — and is not

This is an independent expert review, not certification, and no review can guarantee an audit outcome; that decision always rests with your certification body. To protect impartiality, I do not offer this service to organizations I audit on behalf of a certification body.

If you would like the fixes done for you, that is a separate consulting engagement — ask and I will scope it separately.
